who has gone the extra mile (or miles) to promote Guernsey's name beyond its physical shorelines of Guernsey
who has brought credit and recognition to Guernsey during 2011
there are no limitations in terms of what the individual does, be it culture, sport, community work, education or any other field of endeavour or interest
the individual does not necessarily have to be resident in Guernsey
the individual is not employed to specifically promote Guernsey
